कहाणी त्याची आणि त्यांचीही
आताचे पालक हे अतिजागृत अति सजग आहेत मुलगा पाचवी इयत्तेत गेला की स्काॅलरशीपची तयारी इयत्ता नववीत गेला की दहावीची तयारी आणि जोडीला इंजीनिअरग करता एंट्रंन्स परिक्षेची तयारी , त्याला इंजीनिअर डाॅक्टर बनवण्याचा निर्धार केल्यावर कुठेही कमी पडू नये यासाठी वाट्टेल ते प्रयास करायला आणि मुलाकडून मेहनत करून घ्यायला कोणतीही कसर ठेवत नाहीत.
चांगल्या विद्यापिठात प्रवेश मिळवण्याची स्पर्धा पालकांना आणि विद्यार्थांनाही अशांत आणि अतिउत्साही बनवू लागली.ज्या पालकांना चांगले शिक्षण घेता न आल्याने भविष्यात अडचणिंना तोंड द्यावे लागले आणि छोट्या छोट्या गोष्टींसाठी नकार पचवावा लागला आणि अपमानही सहन करावा लागला ,किमान मुलांना तेच भोग वाट्याला येऊ नये याकरिता ही पीढी नीर्धाराने कामाला लागली.
आपली स्वप्न मुलांवर लादून मोकळी झाली. मुलांना चांगली शाळा, चांगला शिकवणी वर्ग आणि घरात सुखवस्तू वातावरण निर्माण केलं की मुलांसाठी कोणतेही क्षेत्र अवघड नाही असा समज या सुशिक्षित कुटूंबांनी करून घेतला. आपली स्वप्न आपण मुलांवर लादू शकत नाही आणि लादली तरी मुलांची क्षमता नसेल किंवा मुलांना त्या क्षेत्रात रस नसेल तर त्याचा परीणामही मुलगा आणि पालक या दोघांनाही भोगावा लागेल हे समजुन घ्यावेच लागेल.
तुमचे मुल हे यंत्रमानव नाही ज्याचा रिमोट तुमच्या हाती आहे. वास्तववादी भुमीकेतून आणि मुलांची आवड लक्षात घेऊनच प्रगती आणि त्यांचे सुख याची सांगड घालता येईल अन्यथा त्याची प्रगती साध्य झाली तरी त्याला आणि तुम्हाला अपेक्षित सुख समाधान कोसो दूर राहील.म्हणूनच स्वत:ची स्वप्ने मुलांवर लादू नका, त्याला त्याचे अवकाश त्यालि शोधू द्या त्यासाठी त्याला वेळ आणि वैचारीक पाठबळ द्या केवळ पैसा त्यांच्या गरजा भागवू शकणार नाहीत पण त्याच्या निर्णयात तुम्ही त्याच्या पाठीशी खंबीरपणे उभे आहात ही भावनाच त्याला ध्येयापर्यंत पोहचण्याचे पाठबळ देईल. त्यांच्या विकासाच स्वप्न त्याला पाहू दर्या अन्यथा तो तुमची स्वप्न पूरी करूनही मनानं तुमच्या सोबत असेलच असे नाही.
पूणे येथील ऐकीव गोष्ट या करता सांगावीत लागेल, चाफेकरांनी त्यांच्या एकुलत्या एक मुलाला, गणेशला, इंजिनिअरिंगची तयारी करण्यासाठी कोटा , राजस्थान येथे पाठवले , आपल्या प्रावेडंट फंडाचा नंतर काय ऊपयोग म्हणुन बिनपरतावा कर्ज काढले आणि गणेशच्या गुणांनी त्याला साथ दिली. आय.आय.टी. मध्ये तो ही मुंबईत प्रवेश मिळाला, चार वर्षांनी बी.टेक.झाला.कॅम्पस सिलेक्शन झालं आणि बंगळूरला गेला.
कंपनिने वर्षभरात चार कॅंडिडेट यू.एस.ला पाठवले त्यातही तो सिलेक्ट झाला.पाच वर्षातच कंपनीने त्याला ग्रीनकार्ड मिळवून दिलं आणि तो नागरीक झाला.नाना चाफेकर यांना तो आय.आय टी.मध्ये असतांना पैशांसाठी पत्र येत,त्याला पैसे पाठवताना त्यांची दमछाक होई. तो कंपनीत लागल्या नंतर त्यांनी कधीही त्यांच्याकडे पैशांची मागणी केली नाही.आधी रात्री त्याचा आईला व्हिडीओ काॅल येई.नानाही त्याची विचारपुस करत.त्यांची पत्नी पार्वती गणेशचे बंगळुरूला जेवणाचे हाल होतात म्हणून डोळे गाळे.तो आईच्या बॅंक अकाउंटवर एन.एफ.टी.करत असे.यू.एस.ला गेल्यावर तीच्या खात्यात डाॅलर जमा होऊ लागले , आधी दर आठवड्यात एकदा त्यांचा व्हिडिओ काॅल येत असे मग कधीतरी महिन्याला नंतर कधी कधी सहा महिन्यांनी.नानांनी पत्नीच्या आग्रहाखातर फोन केला तर तो उत्तर देई पण त्यात कुठेही जीव्हाळा नसे.
आधी महिन्यांनी येणारे पैसे नंतर वर्षांनी एकत्र जमा होत. या पैशांची त्यांना गरजही नव्हती त्यांच्या आणि त्यांच्या पत्नीच्या पोटापुरती पेन्शन त्यांना मिळे.पण त्यांच्या त्या तुटक वागण्यान पार्वती ,नानांची पत्नी पार कोसळली. त्यांच्या ध्यासान तीने अंथरूण धरले .त्याला कळवले परंतू सुटी मिळत नसल्याने येऊ शकत नसल्याचा फोन आला . एके दिवशी तीने नानांची साथ सोडली आणि नाना पोरके झाले , एकाकी पडले.ज्या मुलासाठी त्यांनी जीवाचे रान केले, त्याला चांगले शिक्षण देता यावे यासाठी पदरमोड केली त्यांना मुलाने कोणतेच समाधान दिले नाही .याचे तात्पर्य काय काढावे ते तुम्ही ठरवा परंतू पैशांनी समाधान विकत घेता येणार नाही हे नक्की.
ज्या वयात आपण आईच्या पदराआड असायचो आणि तीच्या मांडीचा पाळणा करून निवांत झोपायचो त्या वयात ही लहान मुलं अल्फा बेट शिकू लागली आणि कराटेच्या क्लासला जाऊ लागली.मल्टी टास्किंगचा जमाना आला तुम्हाला संगिता बरोबर गणितही येतंय आणि क्रिकेट खेळात तुम्ही माहीर आहातच पण केमीकल इंजीनिअरींग यातली मास्टर डिग्री तुमच्याकडे आहे असं तुम्ही ठणकाऊन तुमची मुलाखत घेणा-या अधिका-याला सांगता तेव्हा तुमचं सिलेक्शन कनफर्म होत. हा सभाधीटपणा आणि आत्मविश्वास व कौशल्य तुम्हाला व्यक्तिमत्व विकासातुनच मिळत आणि हा विकास तुम्हाला लहानपणी घरातून किती उत्तेजन मिळाले किती मोकळीक मिळाली यावरच ठरत.व्यक्तिमत्व वीकासाच दुसरं अंग आहे भावना ,इमोशन, जर तुम्हाला तुमच्या आईच्या कष्टाची, वडिलांच्या मेहनतीची,बहिणिच्या त्यागाची आणि भावाच्या कर्तबगारीची जाणीवच नसेल आणि आईला समजून न घेता तीचा गरजेप्रमाणे जर उपयोग तुम्ही करून घेत असाल तर तुम्ही अज्ञानीच राहिला असे खेदाने म्हणावे लागेल. आई तुमच्या गरजा पुरवणारी आणि तरीही व्यक्त न होणारी मशीन नाही. तीच्या भावनांचा आदर करा. घरातील प्रत्येक व्यक्ती ही तुमच्या आयुष्यात येण्याला काही अर्थ आहे बाबांची आठवण केवळ अडचणिच्यावेळीच येते अन्यथा बाबा हा उपदेशाचे डोस देणारा आणि कायम कसं वागू नये हे आरडा ओरडा करून सांगणारा माणूस समजून जर वागलात तर तुमच्या गरजा पूर्ण करता याव्यात म्हणुन स्वत:च्या सर्वच बाबतीत कंजुसीकरणारा बाबा तुम्हाला दिसणारच नाही.आईचे सर्वस्व तुम्ही आहात , तूमच्या सुखातच तीच सुख लपलेलं आहे याची जाणिव ठेवा. नवं महिने तुमचा गर्भ उदरात ठेऊन स्वत:चर्या रक्तान तुम्हाला जर या मातेने वाढवलं आणि जन्म होताच स्तनपान घालून मोठं केलं तिच्या सुखासाठी जर तुम्हाला काहीच करता येत नसेल तर तुमचा जन्म लौकिक अर्थाने फुकाचा गेला.
