या ओल्या पावसात, भिजल्या चिप्प वाटा
नव अंकुर रानात, स्पर्शाने येई मनी काटा
भिजण्याचे सुख आगळे, त्यात न्हाती दगडगोटे
चला अनुभव घेऊ रानी, गार पाण्यात काय वाटे
भिजुनी झाली माती, लोणी तळव्यास सुखाउनी जाई
आम्ही चालतो पांदी मधूनी, ना चालण्याची कुणा घाई
पाय वाटेवरी पाणी, झुळझुळ मजसवे चालत राही
पायास होती गुदगुल्या, ते मनास सुखवुनी जाई
वळसे घेत मध्येच, अचानक मज हुलकावणी देई
मंजुळ ध्वनी परी सोबत करतो, तीच खरी शहनाई
कधी डोक्यावरून पाणी, नाकावर निथळत रहाते
फिरे ओघळ चष्म्यावरी, मज अंधुक सारे दिसते
मज बिळात खेकडे दिसले, गुज गोष्टीत होते रमले
पाहिले कितीक बेडूक, डबक्यात दिवसाच निजलेले
मी दचकून स्तब्ध झालो, रस्त्यात आडवा साप
मज भित्रा म्हणा तुम्ही, परी नसे कोरडी थाप
शिरला साप बिळात, मी श्वास मोकळा केला
जरी पाऊस धारा पडती,भीतीने सदरा ओला
मग होऊनी थोडा धीट, धरला खेकडा दोरित
मी दिव्य जणू केले, परी नव्हतो मुळी स्वप्नात
या कोसळत्या पावसात, चाले रोज नवी नवी गंमत
घेऊनी छत्री डोक्यावर, चालतो गरगर ती फिरवीत
कधी झिम्माड कधी रिप रिप,रोज सरींची वेगळी रीत
बेडूक नादावले पावसाने, डराऽव डराऽव कर्कश संगित
कधी उसासे सोडत पडतो, वाफ फिरे मग उगा हवेत
परी पिकांना ऊब हवी, अन् हवा गारवा कधी नकळत
आवडे मज असाच पाऊस, भिजण्याची फिटते हौस
कधी येत कण कण अंगात, पडून राहतो मग कांबळीत
या ओल्या भिजत्या पावसात, होई आठवणीची बरसात
नकळत आठवे मज बांगडा, पिठी अन् उकडा भात
या पावसाची जगावेगळी रीत, येई सर मोठी क्षणात
अन् पहावे बाहेर जाऊन तो सुर्य उजळे पूर्वेस नभात
